Message From Our Founder,
Vincent Yong

When I was in my late teens, I discovered the life-changing effects of dancing. It brought me back to how I had survived my childhood (traumatic experiences from my medical to domestic issues) with “rhythmic movements”. They were my innate way to unknowingly regulate stressors! (More of the background will be shared in classes.)

After winning a dance competition in my tertiary engineering education, I followed my heart to do dance as a profession. However, it was met with scorn, dissuasion, mockery and judgement. I was even questioned if I was gay! 

All that from just wanting to dance… If you had ever wanted to do something different and lived a different life but was laughed and mocked into being your old self again, PAUSE right here. You can redesign your life. You can choreograph a new way to think and feel by engaging with the resources that lie inside of you.

This Somatic Movement Practice program is a fantastic complement to yoga. It teaches me how different areas of the body can function together seamlessly and move without any discomfort or strain. While the movements may appear effortless, consistent practice is necessary to experience its benefits. Vincent is an extremely friendly and approachable instructor who is always willing to provide answers to my questions. Personally, I find his classes to be highly enjoyable, particularly the neck-relieving movements. Strongly Recommended 👍
