Why I Created Dance Flow Therapy™ (DFT)™ | Regain

Ageing causes a series of things to happen to us. From precision to balance, and from concentration to confidence, both the brain and muscles experience a drop in their capabilities. Over time, the feeling of ‘I cannot’ or ‘I’m old’ begin to take hold, reinforcing the very decline one experiences.

This is why I created Dance Flow Therapy™ | Regain as a space for seniors to improve function and performance in a way that is safe, sustainable and soul-fulfilling. Ageing starts the moment we are born and our duty to our bodies and our quality of life should be restoring our sense of youthfulness. Learning dance sequences and choreography enhances neuroplasticity and regulates our emotions. It expands the vocabulary in our expression on top of improving our reflexes.

When reactions are timely and poise is restored, we build our confiDANCE too! Dancing with others elevates our social quotient and sensitivity. This soma-social relationship supports seniors in an integrative and holistic manner too.
So with or without anyone watching, dance. You deserve to feel freer and younger no manner the age, no matter the stage of life you’re in.

Omakase Dance Session with Vincent

The omakase dance sessions were a great way to experience how to connect the movements of my body and flow with my body while dancing. I enjoyed the sessions and would like to explore further when my schedule and time permits.

Good Loosening up and Grooving along

Vincent’s Omakase Dance class :-genuine intentions to have seniors like myself find the joy of moving along oldies songs that reminds us of our younger carefree days. He will keep repeating the new dance steps with patience and understanding n find ways to explain and demonstrate the moves . I like that Vincent spends some time doing good warm up to prep and cooling down to relax .
